Bearfort Mountain - Hike to the Firetower

9+ mile Bearfort Mountain / Fire Tower Hike:
Rolling Hills and Summit of Fire Tower Hill.
The Fire Tower has great views, an abandoned water tower to climb.
Featuring Terrace Pond, a potential swimming hole and 2 or 3 scenic overlooks with view on Manhattan in the distance.
A few challenging descent and ascents and no shortcuts.
Lunch/ picnic with amazing views, followed with a break to swim & cool off.
For you to bring: backpack, lunch, sandwiches, picnic, water, liquids... and good spirits !!
Upon return to the van, you will be "greeted" by beer, water, and gatorade... and some snacks for the way back...
Meeting / Departure:
Departure Time: 9.00 am
Meeting: 3 pick-up locations in Manhattan, UES, 14th Street, UWS
Return ca. 6.00 pm
Price: $45 - Will include transportation, water, Gatorade, beer !! and some snacks for the way back...
